    Hi, With WS 2.x you need Excel to make WS solutions and with the comming WS 3.x I think this is not needed anymore and so there are no Excel version problems on the client anymore. Maybe the Jedox team can confirm this. Marco

Another option could be: SQL Server + Analyses Services + ReportPortal with DataEntry to write back direct in the database and ROLAP/MOLAP to report direct based on changed data.     Hi, In Excel sheet you can allow sheets to be accesible by users and you can allow to show on / off cells in sheets and you can show on / off data as available in sheets so you can limit users to see all or only some info / cells / sheets etc. All based on security as you should do in Excel.     Hi, If manualy installation is not helping you. I would advise you delet the foler OLAP and in IISAdmin the settings for OLAP and download the free trial from reportportal.com and install the trial on your server. The trial is installing also SSAS 2000 or SSAS 2005 for you. Best regards, Marco

    Hi, Steps: Just copy the full map into c:\inetpub\wwwroot\xmla or olap as you prefer. In IISAdmin you should have .NET 2.0 and security settings as prefered and dll support added. Depedent if you use Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 2003 you should have IISadmin settings updated. For more info: reportportal.com Best regards, Marco
