Rule to show data from one cube in another cube in a different database

Rule to show data from one cube in another cube in a different database

    Hello,

I need to create a rule to show data from Cube A in Database A to Cube b in Database B.
The issue is, that one dimension is named slightly different and I don't know how the syntax is to basically tell match the dimensions, so jedox gets it that Dimension ABC in database A is the same as Dimension DEF in database B.

Elements in Dimension DEF in Database B are one level higher, that is the whole difference.
e.g. the dimension Database A has the balance sheet account as base element whereas dimension in Database B has the account group as base element.

Thank you for any kind of help.
To get data from another cube you use the data function in the rule. Only the order of the dimensions in Cube A matters there. So just use the notation for the currently selected element in DEF (!'DEF') and use it as the right parameter in the data function. And since the target cube has a less detailed hierarchy but with the same elements, you don't have to worry about mapping element names or handling elements that are not in the source cube.
