Hey Dominik, your assumption is right, thanks. But when I now try to login, there is just an empty pop-up and I can't access Palo Web. I read the palo_server.log file but there is no error, instead it contains the following lines: 2010-04-27 16:33:52 INFO: http port '7777' on address '' open 2010-04-27 16:33:52 INFO: starting to listen 2010-04-27 16:34:10 INFO: user 'admin' logged in Is the first line correct - an empty address!? Hey Dominik, thanks for your reply. I reinstalled the suite again and attended all you wrote, but the problem stays the same. The palo_server.log is also the same. What else may cause the problem? - Shall I reboot the machine? - Could it be a password encoding problem? - Are the file access permissions wrong?

I've successfully installed the Palo Suite under Ubuntu 9.04 on my server, but when I browse to the Palo Web Interface page (.../ui/login/), I am not able to login and the following message pops up: "ERROR: Username or password invalid!". I used admin / admin as login. The server is installed in the same network like my PC from which I try to access the server. What could cause such problem?
