  • element names with the PHP API

If you use the PHP API to load a cube from data read from a text file (as I did yesterday) , do not forget to use the trim function to discard any trailing blanks at the end of the data used to add a new element to a dimension; else the blanks will lead to an error (code 71). I spent two hours yesterday trying to undersand the reason of my strange results....(it was my first PHP program..). I do not know if it is the same with any other PALO APIs (perhaps the trailing blanks are automatically discarded ?).

It would be useful to know the exact rules that must be respected to give a name to a dimension element (?).
