    • Error in V5 SR1 with Rules

      Hello,

I am getting different results when I read a value from another cube than when I input the same value manually, using Jedox 5 SR1. I have not tried this in Jedox 4.

      In Cubo2, the value "No. Personas" is read from another cube. It is used in the calculation of "Subsidio Transporte" which is then consolidated into "Base Prestaciones", as seen below;
      [IMG:http://s16.postimg.org/6zram3jud/Cubo2.png]

The rules for this cube are:

      ################################################
      ## Jedox for Excel - Rule Editor Export
      ## v5.0.4.8526
      ## Active;Definition;Comment;Extern ID;Timestamp
      ################################################
      ['No. Personas'] = B:PALO.DATA("SubsidioTransporte","Cubo1",!'Mes',"Operarios");;;1377374384
['Subsidio Transporte'] = B:['No. Personas'] * ['Dias Subs Trans'] * ['Valor Diario Subs Trans'];;;1377374432

In Cube2a, the value "No. Personas" is inserted manually. Notice the difference in the results:

The rules for Cube 2a are:

      ################################################
      ## Jedox for Excel - Rule Editor Export
      ## v5.0.4.8526
      ## Active;Definition;Comment;Extern ID;Timestamp
      ################################################
['Subsidio Transporte'] = B:['No. Personas'] * ['Dias Subs Trans'] * ['Valor Diario Subs Trans'];;;1377355068

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help explain, and solve, this issue.

    • Problem solved

I managed to find a solution, by applying a marker:

['Subsidio Transporte'] = B:[['No. Personas']] * ['Dias Subs Trans'] * ['Valor Diario Subs Trans'];;;1377374432
      ['No. Personas'] = B:PALO.DATA("SubsidioTransporte","Cubo1",!'Mes',"Operarios") @ PALO.MARKER("SubsidioTransporte","Cubo1",!'Mes',"Operarios");;;1377374384

It turns out that, without a marker, the consolidation algorithm does not SEE the value brought from another cube by the Palo.Data rule
