Access to charts from macro

Hi!

Is it possible for macros to access a chart object in Jedox5? If so, how can I modify its source data range or refresh chart only?
Previously it wasn't possible.

Accessing and updating properties of elements like Comboboxes from a macro will be possible in the next version. For example, you could have a macro that changes the source formula (subset) of a Combobox from one dimension to another.

No, accessing existing charts via macro is not possible.

Yes, thats possible. Php macro engine includes an extension that can "draw" charts.
Examples are included in the "Bikers Best" demo application, e.g. "stacked bars" workbook.

That's great! I want use a stock column dynamic chart. Where I find its class specification?

The used library is chartdirector, Documentation is here: advsofteng.com/doc/cdphp.htm#cover.htm

Please note: the charts built this way are not dynamic (animated) charts. They are created as static images, server-side.
