  • Instaling Palo Suite 3.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

I try to install Palo Suite on an Ubuntu 12.04 64bit Server.

The Admin page on Port 7777 works.

The Palo Web interface on Port 80 or 8081 doesn't work

When i try to start the httpd service, i get following error:

./httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libaprutil-1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

apache2 log in /opt/jedox/ps/var/log/apache2/error is empty

I doubt it will help. Suite services run in the chroot jail which means that installing stuff to the base system will be inaccessible to the service. This file is supposed to be located either in <suite_base>/usr/lib or <suite_base>/usr/local/apache2/lib.

If it is there then you may have some unresolved ABI dependencies in the parent system. Can you run CORE service alone? Vanilla 12.04 LTS Server is missing some 32-bit compatibility packages you may need to install. Off the top of my head, one of these was ia32-libs. Without this for example core server won't run. However, apache should run without issues though, IIRC.
