    • Help With Calculating Net Revenues

      Hey everyone,
I need help with implementing a set of cost types for calculating net revenues. These cost types are hierarchically structured in the following simplified way:
      1. A
      1.1. B
      1.1.1. C
      1.1.1.1. D
      1.1.1.1.1 e
      1.1.1.1.2 f
      1.1.2. G
      1.1.2.1 h
      1.1.2.2 i
      1.1.2.3 j
      1.1.3 ...
The underlying database entries contain the bottom most cost type of this hierarchy (e.g. e, f, h, i, j, ...), a key and the corresponding amount:
      | KEY | TYPE | AMOUNT |
      | 123 | e | 500 |
      | 123 | j | 150 |

These values need to be aggregated over the entire hierarchy (A, B, C, D, G, ...). But that is something Jedox already does out of the box.
So, this doesn't appear to be that tricky, but I cannot seem to get my head around it. Do I even need rules for this, at all?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
