  • Detect usage of IE in Jedox Web

    Hi guys,

    unfortunately the usage of Internet Explorer is no longer possible in our environment (IE is way too slow and after clicking a few things unusable).
    Therefore I would like to detect the browser during logon process (we are in a SSO environment) and show some information tio the user to better not use IE as browser.

    I do have some PHP code for the IE detection but I dont know where to put it:

    Source Code

    1. $u_agent = $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'];
    2. if ((preg_match('/MSIE/i',$u_agent) && !preg_match('/Opera/i',$u_agent)) || strpos($u_agent, 'Trident/7.0; rv:11.0') !== false)
    3. //do something

    Any ideas where to put this code to detect the IE during SSO-logon and eventually show some message?

    Regards

    Solution:
    index.php in ...http\app\docroot\ui\login did the trick here.
