    Hi Jedox fans,

    I have several times the case that I (pre-)fill nearly (but not completely) a whole cube slice with one and the same value.
    ..e.g. product prices which usually stay the same for a quite long time => slowly changing..
    (example: price 5 EUR from 2015-04 till 2020-12)

    so I have:
    4 4 4 4 4 4 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5

    I usually do this via set_data_bulk or ETL.
    But this all the time requires me to prepare all the coordinates for each relevant cell.. this is quite annoying.

    Does anyone of you know a "magic", better, easier way to do this? (but which is still performant).

    In certain cases I used splashing via !, but this seems to be slow and is only working when your target area
    is matching a cons. element.

    did you try cubeslice?

    because of the performance look at the option "lock cube access during load", this may accelerate the process. And be sure to use a user with the admin role so that it will not have to check the rights prior to the load
